What is Tahini?
Tahini is the result of grinding sesame seeds into a creamy paste. Tahini’s creaminess makes for the perfect base to sauces, dips and spreads. By itself it is a slightly bitter, earthy but when whisked together with fresh lemon, crushed garlic and a hint of chili sauce it is mouth watering.

Spicy Tahini Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup tahini
- 1 cup hot water*
- 1 lemon, juice
- 2 garlic cloves pressed or minced
- 1/3 cup chili pepper sauce
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl, whisk until you reach desired consistency.
Notes
* you may need to add a touch more water or lemon juice depending on thickness of tahini used for recipe.
