How to Shrimp Tacos Recipe Tips
Seasoning:
The cajun seasoning blend that I use is a no sodium spice mixture. I prefer these types of spices because they allow me to control the amount of salt in the recipe. If you’d like to mix the seasoning yourself it’s a mixture of ground paprika, onion, garlic, marjoram, thyme, fennel seed, cumin and cayenne. Spices add flavor and powerful nutrients too.
Cabbage Slaw & Whipped Avocado:
This is in my opinion what makes the tacos so tasty. Freshly shredded cabbage and white onion, I used a food processor, but you can achieve the same effect with a good chef’s knife and patience. You could also use a pre-sliced cabbage mix sold at your local grocery store. The whipped avocado is a creamy “dressing” for the cabbage mix, don’t skip.
